Yali Network Sokoto under the leadership of Comrade AMINU Kabiru (FLMI) SUSI Alumnus Hosts Successful Public Speaking Lecture for 50 Participants.*
On May 25, 2025, the Yali Network Sokoto conducted a highly interactive and inspiring lecture on public speaking for 50 participants. A well resound welcome address was presented by the State Coordinator AMINU Kabiru – SUSI Alumnus. The event featured two insightful presentations:
1. “Finding Your Voice: Building Confidence and Managing Anxiety in Public Speaking” by Hauwa Yarima, Secretary General of Yali Network Sokoto.
2. “Overcoming Fear of Public Speaking; Strategies to Build Confidence” by Salihu Usman Shuni, Former Coordinator of Yali Network.
Following the presentations, participants engaged in a Q&A session and were then divided into four groups, each assigned a topic:
1. Concept of Anxiety
2. Concept of Confidence
3. Concept of Fear
4. Concept of Focus
Each group researched and discussed their topic, culminating in practical presentations before the audience. The program was well-received, with participants expressing superb satisfaction with the detailed explanations and professional delivery.
The success of the event can be attributed to the engaging presentations and interactive group activities, which provided participants with valuable insights and practical experience in public speaking.
